I am convinced that I mis-nocked the arrow. I have paid close attention to my cocking method and the string and bolt position when cocked.

I found that I do not pull up on the cocking rope causing it to favor high as originally described, but actually the opposite, pulling down causing it to land exactly in the necked down portion of the release pins as designed. After 40 more shots, I have had no additional problem with the string and really can not see any other explantion other than a mis-nocked bolt. I recieved punctual input from Barnett every time I asked for it.
